Did you know that John F. Kennedy was shot? He was in Dallas, Texas. He was shot in the back of the head. His Secret Service was standing right beside him. He was by his wife. He was in a convertible. He was the first Catholic president. It was very sad for all Catholics. He was in a parade. When they pronounced him dead, the vice president was president for a while.
My grandpa was one of the Secret Service men. But nobody could figure out who really shot John F Kennedy. There were three bullets. The third one shot him right in the head. It was very sad for all Americans and his wife.

I liked how you chose to draw your reader in by getting their attention immediately with a question. It made the reader want to know more, especially if he/she did not know President Kennedy was shot. You had a creative, nice idea to list your characters at the end of your story.
